Loose Shield Anchor Bolts
Loose Shield Anchor Bolts are a type of heavy-duty expansion anchor designed for secure, medium-load fastening into solid masonry substrates. The anchor consists of a three-segment expanding shield, a bolt, and a conical nut. As the bolt is tightened, the conical nut is drawn up into the shield, forcing the segments to expand outwards and create a strong frictional grip against the wall of the pre-drilled hole. They are highly effective for anchoring into concrete, brickwork, and solid stone. Common applications include securing brackets, trunking, satellite dishes, and structural supports. Available in a comprehensive range of metric diameters and lengths to accommodate various fixture thicknesses, the Bright Zinc Plated (BZP) finish provides good corrosion resistance for internal applications.
