Black UV Stabilised Cable Tie 1200 x 9.0mm

UV stabilised cable ties are designed for installation in areas where the cable tie will be subjected to high levels of UV exposure. Our cable ties are used widely throughout Europe, commonly in the renewable energy market where performance and reliability are paramount for long term, outdoor installations.

Made from black weather resistant PA66 Resin in accordance with ASTM Standard D6779, D4066 and MIL spec M-20693B.

Weather resistance is obtained by incorporating finely divided, well-dispersed carbon black particles in the nylon matrix.

While some companies simply class their standard black cable ties as "UV Resistant", our UV Stabilised cable ties are manufactured, using specialist polymer, to exacting specifications and rigorously tested to ensure performance.

The head design of our cable tie guarantees high tensile strength and low insertion force. They are easy to thread with no flash and have inside serrations for a secure hold.

They can be tensioned by hand or with one of our tensioning tools. The self-locking mechanism allows the cable ties to be quickly secured in place.
