Polypropylene cable ties are perfect for applications in harsh chemical environments where nylon may be affected. They offer outstanding resistance to most acids and bases and exhibit good resistance to a wide range of other chemicals. They have a lower tensile strength compared to Nylon 6.6 but high impact strength and excellent resistance to brittleness at low temperatures.
Polypropylene can easily be recycled making them an environmentally friendly choice of fixing. Local councils may accept Polypropylene in their plastics recycling collection. Please check with your local authority. Polypropylene is classed as resin code 5 (PP).
The head design of our cable tie guarantees high tensile strength and low insertion force. They are easy to thread with no flash and have inside serrations for a secure hold.
They can be tensioned by hand or with one of our tensioning tools. The self-locking mechanism allows the cable ties to be quickly secured in place.
RoHs & REACH Compliant
Low Smoke Zero Halogen
Manufactured in accordance with ISO9001:2015
